| My crest was drawn for me by my uncle, Stan Marsden (Craig, Ak.). I am of the Killerwhale Clan and this represents me. My husband is represented in the fin on my back and overlooks me and my 3 children, which are in the lower portion. Located in the tail is a watchman. Tradition says no one else can use this design without my permission because it is me. I have been making our regalia and should have it completed by the end of November 2000.. As of Aug. 22nd I've joined the Killerwhale Dance Group (our Wednesday dance group). Having watched them all summer, it was just a matter of getting out on the floor. My youngest son joined the group 1 week later and is already getting good reviews. I look forward to the next tour season and invite you to come back and see me and my son in our regalia =) Shoo loo ama godin (You make my heart happy!) |
